Purdie would join for sure, but you have to pay cash same as Brian Epstein did.

well.. that might take a wee while longer - but even that is possible.
of course its nothing like actually coming up with the songs, but still - as an extended NIR project that would be quite cool lol

www.amazon.com/gp/reader/1841959189/ref=sib_dp_pt/002-2296095-3976843#reader-linkBook Description “It was forty years ago today” that Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles was released, an LP which changed the face of popular culture and continues to top public and critical polls of the greatest albums ever made. The Act You’ve Known for All These Years reconstructs the life and times of Sgt. Pepper, the cultural backstory of the band and rock's turbulent early adulthood. Weaving the activities of the Beatles in with those of their contemporaries and rivals — notably Bob Dylan, the Beach Boys and Pink Floyd — heralded music critic Clinton Heylin reveals the inspirations and explodes the myths behind this talismanic, iconic album — and "the summer of love" itself. In addition, the book surveys what happened next, telling the history of the LP’s "afterlife" from 1967 to the present day. Featuring interviews both with those who were there at the time and those who followed in the Beatles’ wake, The Act You’ve Known for All These Years is the definitive book on the defining LP of the pop era. They'll have to add a chapter when our version comes out!

OK so as we've been talking about this for a while now but haven't got any material yet, I decided to do a quick demo of the title track to try and get things kick started, so here we are, hopefully this link will work! www.4shared.com/dir/4640405/bce8171e/sharing.html

I'm really ill ... and on a brief musical hiatus.. until at least the new year. But I'm only having a break so I can collate funds and gather new equipment together. So when I get back on the horse, so to speak, this lil project might be made slightly easier ;D

Oh Plastic Paul I can finally hear it! (took forever to load so I have just heard the 20 years ago today part but... It turned me on. It gave me girl blushes. You have that authentic accent (I'll have to fake it). My only problem is that it sounds better than the origional, I mean you have your own style. You may have set the bar too high for me! I'm gonna have to work hard to keep up. Since Deceptionist is out of commision I'll play around with it, it will take me a few weeks because I have a full date book this month.

Sorry Mike but we can't have anybody with a Bunny Avatar join our little group! Just kidding, all you have to do is submit your version of Sgt. Pepper Lyrics we have to try to make them match Plastic Paul's version.

but the pp version is a demo , why build on that when i make a song, i'll always take the original and play along with it, capture the audio from my guitar only, and then i'll do piano, bass and vocals/drums
