False alarm... It was Jeni Crowley, Beatles fan club secretary from London, not Paulette. *whew*

Things have reached a pretty pass at TKIN!, yes. I don't know what to think, or say, or post. The latest leap goes too far IMO. No offense meant to BP, but I am surprised at the kinds of things he is now suggesting. I do not want to be disrespectful to the Maestro; hopefully he will yet present his rationale for this. Maybe it's a tactic of a sort. I just don't know. But, yes, it all sounds weird and implausible.

Maybe he's just stretching the envelope to the extreme hoping he might sus out something major; or evoke an "insider", whatever form that might take, into "coming forward"--as unlikely as that seems to this day. Maybe he's weary of the stagnancy, or stalled out condition of many ideas. I don't know. You see, I have a theory about who he may be, actually, there are 2 or 3 names in my head, but of course I will never put those names up here, seeing as how (1) that would be out of turn and inappropriate, and (2) it's too "intuitive" of a theory to present to other people. But, the respect I have for the excellent professional work of each of the 3 or so people I think that BP may be, is so high, so wonderful, so enduring, that I can't take a negative view on the man/or woman him/herself. His/Her achievements prevent me from doing so. FYI: No, I am not thinking it's Macca, or any other known person associated with the Beatles. No, it's a party from way out in left field. But, nobody would get it or agree with me. Or comprehend why I think so. Suffice it to say-----these persons do so well in other areas of their life, there must be a good reason for all of this now. I just dont know what it could be. I'll scratch my head in silence.

Toke up another one & see what kind of crazy stuff he can get people to swallow....... for his own amusement... of course.

Hello all, this my first post here at NIR. I have been following things closely and wished to know what you fine folks thought of what Apollo C. Vermouth posted over at the TKIN forum. Pardon the intrusion... The good sister quotes, "We all know James Paul is dead...duh!" Well, what "we" know is that post '66 another face and voice appears, while another seems to vanish into the ether. Yet, we have no proof of an actual death. Only speculation. It is still my stance that what information you need to connect the dots still remains hidden in plain sight. I find it curious that when John penned "How Do You Sleep?", he referred to those seeking answers as "freaks." And, not in a "good" way. Which leads me to take another hard look at the song, and who it is really focused upon. Paul finds no problem addressing himself as a "freak." As you are finding out, in the world of "clues", the most obvious sometimes only serves as a distraction to what is clearly being displayed. And, it is always a nice touch to quote Hendrix. Apollo followed by: Pardon the intrusion.. As you are finding out, in the world of "clues", the most obvious sometimes only serves as a distraction to what is clearly being displayed. So Paul being displayed as having breasts and a "Sylvie" hairband in the MMT cartoon "displays" that he was undergoing sex change operations. "Desmond stays at home and does his pretty face, And in the evening she's still singing with the band." He was going to work for the night club in England, and the "freaks" were the inner circle there who were "seeking answers" about who the new "Paul" in the Beatles was. and then: It is still my stance that what information you need to connect the dots still remains hidden in plain sight. As you are finding out, in the world of "clues", the most obvious sometimes only serves as a distraction to what is clearly being displayed. Ok Apollo, what is the obvious unobvious that everyone is missing? Yes we know there is a replacement. No there isnt any proof that JPM is dead, but there are no signs of him after Sept 66'. Do be so kind to as to enlighten us in a non-cryptic graspable manner. and so: Pardon the intrusion... Byrds is hitting on all cylinders with that reply. Keep in mind the dialouge between John and Paul with "Imagine" and "Ram." Paul-"Three Legs" John-"Crippled Inside" Paul-"Too Many People" John-"How Do You Sleep" On the "Ram" album, in the song "Monkberry Moon Delight" Paul writes: "I know my bananna is OLDER than the rest, and my hair is a tangled beretta. So, I leave my pajamas to BILLY BUDAPEST, and I don't get the gist of your letter." Is that "graspable" enough? Apollo Apollo seems to be suggesting that Paul did not perish. I'm wondering if my interpretation is flawed or I'm missing something. He also seems to be in agreement with Byrdsmaniac's post. What do you all think? Am I mistaken ?

I have no clue about Apollo. He drops in from time to time on the boards and gives his cryptic hints, then vanishes.
The cynic in me says he's just a guy having some fun stirring the pot. Anybody can talk cryptically without any real meaning. That being said, there's always been a different air about him, unlike Captain Cuckoobrains. Maybe he really is an insider or somebody who knows the whole story, but since you need a compass just to find your way around his posts, I don't bother analyzing them. I've been on too many wild goosechases as far as all this is concerned.

Cryptic as he may be, Apollo will point out clues that do not exist in any PID book or website. He has been on the mark with everything he has relayed to these forums.

Ya, PL, he may have way too time on his hands, but I agree with RL's post. Granted... I don't have the time or energy to sit around figurin' out cryptic posts. I usually gotta do a quick read-thru & go, but over the years he's pointed out clues that nobody else has mentioned. Apollo does seem to know more about this stuff than your average forum member.

admittadly I've only read a few of his posts, but all that cryptic stuff just bores me. If you have something to say then just say it.
What kind of stuff has he pointed out?

Yeah I've been revisiting his posts, he was quite prolific for a while, but he hasn't written anything here for over a year. His favorite one was of course one relating to Pepper: invanddis.proboards29.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=Clues&thread=1080663939&page=1And the Walrus: invanddis.proboards29.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=Clues&thread=1080870018&page=1I'm going to tell you what he's saying so far, in plain english, and Apollo is free to visit and tell me I'm full of it if he likes. Cheeky? Yeah, lol. He (or she possibly btw, but I'll use the male pronoun) is saying that while Paul was replaced, of that there is no question, he wasn't dead at all, and continued to be somewhere on the scene. He has also given enough hints that I'm pretty sure he's stating that Paul was very much a part of the Klaatu album. He has made it clear that Pepper is the most important, and of course that "there's nothing that you can see that isn't shown". As I've read the posts at TKIN and here, no one has really drawn up a "family tree" if you will of the characters on the Pepper cover, and I'll agree, if someone took on that task, and took the time to consider all the commonalities and connections, one would be really ahead of the game. A quote from a post he made here: Agreed. I don't know what to say about the Paul is not dead business, I guess one could infer that he's also saying PID, with the way it was it was brought out and then debunked was in itself a cover story for something else. (looking through a glass onion) I'll also say that Wings is correct, it's easy to create a mysterious aura on the internet, just have to pick and choose your words carefully. I do however think it's a good possibility that he's pretty knowledgable, or perhaps just made some very astute observations, and has been doing so long before these boards came along. More to the story than PID? I can't get my head 'round it, but time will tell I guess, I've been surprised more than a few times in this crazy adventure.

I vote for cryptic bullshitter with no inside knowledge...
as far as I'm concerned, he doesn't even understand "All You Need is Love."
