Just something off the top of my head. I don't see Beatles either on the pathway on the Klaatu album. I see EA too. Ea was a Sumerian God. Ea and Enki are one and the same deity.
Legend has it Enlil, the god of the air was to destroy all of mankind in a flood. Enki, his brother, went against him and had a man build a boat to save his family and animal life.
This Sumerian story predates the Biblical tale by many hundreds of years and is most likely the basis of the Noah flood story.
Remember, when you talk about Set, Isis, Osiris, Ra, it is simply the retelling of the story, only the languages change down through time from nation to nation.
Innana (also known as Ishtar), a Sumerian goddess whose crucifixion, resurrection and escape from the underworld is told in cuneiform tablets inscribed before 1500 B.C., attesting to a very old tradition. The tablet was describes the resurrection of Innana's lover, Tammuz (also known as Dumuzi). Tammuz as one of his "Sixteen Crucified Saviors down through history. Tammuz was worshipped in Israel about the time of King Solomon. It is written, the women were at the temple facing the east weeping for Tammuz. Not an exact quote but you can look it up with no problem whatsoever.

I may have to give you that one. This is the first time I've seen Klaatu and when I saw the E and A, I thought I could ferret out the other letters amongst the squiggles - but I don't see it either yet. I can kind of see an "S" after the "E and A", just to the right and a little below, but that doesn't help much.

Ok, I understand the Lily and the Jester connection - but I still don't understand what any of that has to do with the bigger picture. I'm sorry, I wish I could follow where you are pointing.
In the past, any time I track down an herb or botanical or metallic reference, it leads back to the alchemy symbolism, and then I'm lost again. I still can't make the leap from metaphores regarding the philosopher's stone to my everyday life.

I tried to search for your "bone" thread Iameye, but your comment in this thread is the only thing that comes up. Sorry to bug you, but do you have a link? Looking thru each page takes time.
I still don't understand your response. You tell me things are important, but don't tell me why they are important. But then say that I might know some day? Is this a big secret that no one can speak directly about for some reason?

I found this quote from the "Blue Apples" website, and it seems to include several areas of interest for our story: www.bibliotecapleyades.net/merovingians/blueapples/blueapples_13.htmOn a second tablet Enoch inscribed the secret knowledge of the angels. This tablet he gave to his son. The vaults were then sealed, and upon the spot Enoch supervised the construction of two magnificent, indestructible columns. One was made of fire-proof marble. The other of Laterus, or brick, so that it would not sink in water. In other words, it was a floating stone. In Druid myth, the floating stone was a blue glass blown in the shape of an egg or apple by the serpents of wisdom. Out of this floating stone was born the phoenix or heron who utters the Word. In Egyptian myth, the heron landed at Heliopolis or On, aka Tula, atop the pillar or ben ben stone, and delivers an egg, ball or apple containing the wisdom concerning the Holy Blood. Wolfram in his Parzival expressly states that the Grail is a stone from which the Phoenix rises. Therefore, the Grail is the floating stone. But what is the Grail? It is the Ark or vessel of Glass of Celtic myth, which is the ship of a god called Hu, who is the Atlantean Noah, because he escaped the great flood in his ship. His name is a variant of what the Jews called the Shekinah or ‘radiance’, the light which emerged from the sun. In Sanskrit Hu is ‘he-who-is-poured out’. Hu-Siris was one of the Greek names for Osiris. The idea of pouring out of the Holy Spirit or possibly the Holy Wisdom is echoed in the writings of the Hebrew prophets from Isaiah to Joel, whose prophecies said that at the last God will pour out his spirit, not upon the few initiates only, but upon all flesh. It appears the soul of the savior is contained in the ark/grail/apple and poured out. This God of Hu has come up in my studies before, as he was hailed at the Beijing Olympics opening ceremony. I have summarized the HU story at a synchromystic website, but I'll put the link here if anyone is interested. Another quote from Blue Apples:
The serpent’s egg was known as the Philosopher’s Stone. The alchemists called it ‘the Golden Apples of the Hesperides’ or the ‘golden bough’. The golden apple tree with its golden branches was adopted by Apollo -- who returned to Tula every 18.61 years-- as his sacred tree. In fact, his name, Apollo, comes from the Celtic abal, or apple.
MELON is the Greek word for apple and sheep. Therefore, says Ms. Anderson, the Golden Apple is probably identical with the Golden Fleece.16
Both appear to refer to the wisdom of Apollo or Tula.

www.book-of-thoth.com/article1543.htmlFigure 11: Scarab Brooch. This design looks as if the brain has been sliced open revealing the thalamus at the centre – the two wings representing the two sides of the brain, which is what the wings of the Caduceus is said to also represent. The ‘sun disk,’ held by Khepri is the Inner Sun – the void, which in Hindu tradition is the bindu point above the head. As we can see we are being told that the thalamus – via Khepri – is connected to this ‘source-centre’ personified by the God Atum-Ra. Note the three legs, like the three nerve meridians all culminating in the thalamus. ‘ . . . Ethnoentomological studies reveal beetles’ significance due to their importance as a food source and their ability to fly. In primitive and traditional cultures, shamans (medicine men) play very important roles. They are men of power, who are able to address issues in both the terrestrial and celestial worlds. ‘They are able to “fly” in the sky, (in dreams or trances) and descend to subterranean hells where they act as mediators between infernal powers and ordinary men. ‘With these talents held in high esteem, beetles were observed to fly in the sky and dive into the ground. In addition to their palatability, it is plausible to consider the importance of beetle symbolism within shamanic cultures . . .’ [15] We can see then that the shaman saw many correspondences in the beetle: that it could fly like the shaman as in ‘astral flight’ and also dive into the ground – which suggested the shaman’s journey into the Underworld. The link between the black and gold scarab beetle and the thalamus in the brain would surely have been made, as the spiritually-activated thalamus becomes the ‘third eye’ – the Philosopher’s Stone or ‘Projection Stone’ associated with the trance state and which actually allows these shamanic abilities. Here’s a few more extracts which suggests a connection between the scarab beetle and the Philosopher’s Stone through which one finds immortality: ‘Taoism is another Asian religion, or rather philosophy. Its goal was to reach immortality, either material (for the body,) or spiritual (for the soul.) Of course, spiritual immortality was more precious and more difficult to reach. A famous text, “The Secret of the Golden Flower”, takes the sacred scarab as an example of the “work to be done” in order to reach spiritual immortality. Taoism believes in the strengths of various material “pellets” that aids in reaching immortality. The scarab dung ball was identified as one of these pellet substances . . .’ [16] The Taoist “pellets” – which were seen to be reflected in the dung-balls of the beetle – are obviously related to the “stone” or “egg” of alchemy – as is the phrase “work to be done” – which is the ‘Great Work’ also associated with alchemy - ’internal alchemy’ that is, as associated with enlightenment or superconsciousness and by which one knows one is immortal. There is also a phrase used in alchemy that “the stone is found in dung,” and this is further supported by the following: ‘The Jesuit Athanasius Kircher (1602-1680) did not hesitate to recall the identification scarab = Christ, referring both to St. Ambrose and Psalm 22:6: “But I am a worm, and no man,” verse which has been referred to Christ, and where (as Kircher says), “some read scarab instead of worm.” ‘He went further to combine Christian faith with Alchemy: for him, the scarab was the prima materia of the Great Work. This idea was shared by some alchemists, e.g. Michael Maier (1566-1622,) who explained in his writings that the so-called “philosophical stone”, product of the Great Work, was nothing other than Christ, resuscitated from the dead; a promise of resurrection for all human beings. ‘Perhaps the scarabs and other beetles still occasionally used as ornaments [. . .] are ultimate remnants of these old faiths, which can be traced back to the Egyptians and Paleolithic shamans.’ [17] Yes and it would seem that a large amount of this predynastic knowledge was lost on the later dynastic Egyptians, as if much of it was misunderstood, and what was understood had become forgotten. The word “worm” - Orm (Scandinavian - see below) is associated with the “serpent” – and it being seen or read, as “scarab” is indeed interesting. Christ is saying that he is a ‘serpent’ and no man – or that he is the ‘scarab’ – i.e., reborn via the activated thalamus, which is experienced as ‘enlightenment’.

From the same page posted above:
In esoteric thought, the normally functioning, and therefore spiritually inactive thalamus, is represented by the BLACK scarab, as it represents the “black void” of the ‘unconscious’. In other words, the normal inactive thalamus means that the individual is unconscious of that source-centre as represented by the physical thalamus.
Could this be the symbolism of the one black carnation vs. the three colored "apples" or "beetles?"

From the author Gary Osborn: www.book-of-thoth.com/article1552.htmlThe Rose (head of Jesus) at the centre of the cross which contains the three components of the ‘third eye’ or ‘brow chakra’ is the “blooming flower”. The activated chakra system during the enlightenment experience would be the “nine-fold throne” in Essenbach’s code where the fountains (energy) spring from.

I'm getting tired of starting a new thread every time a new issue comes up. This thread is dedicated to "confusion," so I have decided anything that helps me be less confused is within the boundaries of the topic. I found this information regarding Dung Beetles, and some of the words seem significant, so I'm copying here fyi: www.earthlife.net/insects/dung.htmlDung beetles can be conveniently divided into 3 groups, Rollers, Tunnellers and Dwellers. Rollers are far more successful in the tropics than they are in temperate areas. Rollers are species who make a burrow some way away from the dung they are going to use and then collect small to medium sized lumps of dung to role away from the source and into their burrows. We only have one 'Roller' in Britain, this is Typhaeus typhoeus the Minotaur Beetle, this amazing animal can dig burrows up to one metre deep. Mostly it likes to work with sheep and rabbit dung, it is very active through the wet winter months but spends the hot summer dry asleep under the ground. Generally the female does most of the digging and the male spends most of his time collecting the dung for her. Down in her tunnel she digs a number of side burrows each of which she fills with dung and then lays one egg in before back filling the burrow a bit more with soil. The well known 'Dor Beetle' Geotrupes stercorarius is a classic example of a tunneller. Generally speaking dung beetles are good fliers and the single Dor Beetle flies along until he or she finds a nice fresh cow pad into which she/he dives. Once a pair have got together they dig a tunnel beneath the pad and then drag as much dung as they like down into it. Again it is mostly the female who stays in the burrow sorting out the dung and the male who goes out to get it. The most common but least seen dung beetles in Britain are in the very successful genus 'Aphodius' , which contains over 1 000 species world-wide, we have about 50 species of Aphodius here in the UK. All species of Aphodius are 'Dwellers', that is they spend as much of their lives as possible digging around inside some sort of dung. They lay the eggs straight into it and the larvae live in it where it is happily eating there way through it. Though most dung beetles are very useful and hard working, a few are theives, 'Kleptocoprophages'. All dung beetles are Coprophages, that just means "feeding on dung". A Kleptocoprophage is a dung beetle that eats and lays its eggs on dung some other beetle has collected, this is a form of Kleptoparasitism as the thief often eats the legitimate dung-owners eggs as well as stealing their dung, Aphodius porcus is a Kleptocoprophage/parasite of the common Dor Beetle, these are definitely not nice guys. Dung beetles have amazing variety of life cycles and the females of many of the larger 'Rollers' stay inside their burrows and care for and protect their eggs and young, these species can live for up to 3 years. Some of these larger dung beetles are incredibly strong and move balls of dung up to 50 times their own weight. In Egypt the center of scarab worship the beetle which inspired the locals at the time was probably originally Kheper aegyptiorum a brightly coloured species which is now rare there because the climate has changed. Later it passed to the black Scarabaeus sacer. In more modern times reference is only made to S. sacer. Khepri was a scarab god of the sun and the important symbolism came from the scarab's rolling his ball of dung then taking it down into the soil from where new life later emerged. Hence Kepri rolled the sun across the sky and buried it each evening, was born anew in the morning and rolled the sun across the sky again. Egyptian priests seem to have thought that the scarabs ball of dung was equivalent to his egg, they believed all sacarbs were male therefore, because he did not need a female for reproduction. They reasoned that if both the sun and a scarab beetle could be reborn in a special container in the ground then why couldn't people. It is now believed by some modern scholars that the Egyptian mummy in its tomb/pyramid was a representation of the pupa of S. sacer in the remains of its ball of dung in the earth. Scarab amulets became immensely popular and remained that way for centuries and are the most common archeological relics from the N. African region.

An interesting interpretation of the identity of each Beatle within the mythos: The Beatles After World War II destroyed Germany and Britain lost its empire, the scarab god revealed itself in the form of the Volkswagen Beetle and the Beatles, bringing a new dawn and resurrection for the German economy and British culture. The beetle god also represented the general creativity and challenge to authority that characterized the 1960s, a period also popularized as the "Age of Aquarius." Each Beatle represented a different facet of Khepera. Paul was the face. I was the smart one. George with all his mysticism, was the spirit, and Ringo was the heart. — John LennonThe scarab feasts on dung. The Beatles honed their talent in nightclubs in the sleazier part of Hamburg, thus nourishing their career on the "excrement" of Germany. Holy crap! A less earthy example of the Beatles' celestial connection can be found in how the band chose its name. John spoke of a vision in which "a man descended unto us astride a flaming pie and spake these words unto us saying, 'From this day on you art The Beatles with an A.'" The flaming pie would be an apt description of a flying saucer or the fiery chariot related by Ezekiel in the Bible. Lennon's most controversial statement, that the Beatles were "more popular than Jesus," was hardly an outrageous comparison as the scarab form, like Jesus, represents resurrection. "In Germany, where scarab worship, in the form of the stag beetle, has persisted longest, the equation scarab = Christ was widely accepted. The quintessential German artist, Albrecht Dürer, associated the stag beetle with Christ in various paintings, and produced a famous watercolor of the insect." (Cambefort, Yves, February 1994, Beetles As Religious Symbols, www.insects.org/ced2/beetles_rel_sym.html) Both Jesus and the Beatles were incarnations of Khepera. Since the rebellious, creative Khepera is followed by the authoritarian, destructive Ra at noon, Hitler certainly fit the bill as an Antichrist; a large portion of the American business community held Franklin Roosevelt in the same regard. The Antichrist should be more properly thought of as the Afterchrist. The animated Beatles film Yellow Submarine depicted a sun-colored Boat of Ra and Khepera's battle with the water demons, the Blue Meanies. Still another link to ancient Egypt was the inspiration the Beatles drew from African-American musicians. Performers in ancient Egypt would have been influenced by the culture of their African neighbors. The ball of dung pushed by the scarab god also had its counterpart in modern culture. That rolling ball is "like a rolling stone," which begat the Rolling Stones and Rolling Stone magazine. For every god, there must be a goddess. The complimentary dark goddess or Kali force in the Age of Khepera was the theme of assassination, with such leaders as JFK and Martin Luther King meeting their deaths. The assassinations of John Kennedy and Robert Kennedy were necessary to ensure the success of the Khepera revolution. The youth of America needed to rebel against a rigid, authoritarian father figure. Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon fit the bill. John and Robert Kennedy did not. John Lennon's murder and the attack on George Harrison were foreshadowed in the 1964 Beatles movie Help, in which an incompetent band of Kali worshippers attempt to execute Ringo. Help, which poked fun at the followers of the dark goddess, might be considered a blasphemy against Kali, for which Khepera had to pay a price. By the mid-1990s, the musical creativity that had been ushered in by the Beatles was a spent force. Music had largely reverted to its most basic, tribal forms: the mating dance and the war dance. George Harrison observed as much when he noted, "I think the popular music has gone truly weird. It's either cutesy-wutesy or its hard, nasty stuff." By the turn of the century, the feel-good Age of Khepera was over, as predicted by musician Prince in 1982: "2000 zero zero party over, oops, out of time. So 2night I'm gonna party like it's 1999." Prince's decision to adopt a hieroglyphic name may have reflected a past life as an Egyptian. www.tonyahardingshotjfk.com/egyptology/monetbeatles.html

I've been getting frustrated because these Beatles and all their sundry assorted players seems to fit into so many different stories, and the more threads I read the more confused I get.
But ultimately, it seems as though all these various stories that we can match up to the symbolism and the people involved are just the same handful of stories, repeated with different players throughout history.
I am still having difficulty believing that these musicians, all of whom have lyrics and cover art that make up part of the story, have pulled one over on the Powers That Be by "hiding" all of this in plain sight.
The Powers aren't stupid people, and speak symbolism fluently themselves. It isn't as if they are blind to the messages. This, along with much of the rosicrucian/oto/british crown/etc. symbolism that is used, I can only conclude that this message comes from a larger group than just the Fab Four.
Do you trust those kinds of people to manipulate your subconscious? Even if they believe it is for your best interests?

It seems that both the good and wicked (positive and negative) systems are put forth by "The Powers", (or so it appears outwardly). That way they have themselves covered if someone points out the evil of one thing or another. They can say, "yes but on the other hand...."
Example: The Beatles encourage drug use. (negative) The Beatles discourage war, and promote love. (positive)
But in fact, there's more to it than just the "cover your ass" aspect, imo. It just may be that polarity exists inherently in physical matter, and as such, is unavoidable. I'd prefer that not to be the case, of course, but it may be that there simply can't be good without evil in the physical realm, and it may be due to the nature of energy. In electric circuits, it is the potential of energetic flow that allows for anything to be accomplished. It is the separateness of the poles that creates action in the circuit. It may be that 30 years of positive energy manifestations of love and prosperity simply must then draw 30 years of destitution and hate in their wake. There may be no intelligence to it; no devil to encourage bad behavior, simply a part of physical structure. That would explain why there's never "Peace on Earth". "The Powers" cannot help but create systems that include both goodness and wickedness. But what does that tell you? You have to make choices that will keep you in the polarity that is acceptable to you! And in doing that, you move forward in the direction that you favor, and become it. Pssst: "Nothing is real". It's just the game you're in. The maze. (Maybe we're amazed!) And your superconscious is not fooled by conscious efforts to program your subconscious. ;D The figure of 8. First you go north and to the left, then you go south and to the right. Doe see doe. But it does seem that although both evil and good are always manifest, predominantly positive periods seem to last much longer than relatively short periods of predominantly negative expression. Perhaps the bad periods are cut short in some way to alleiveate the suffering endured by humans during those periods.

I think the examination of Set(h) shows us that the foundational energy isn't what is "bad," but the things we humans do with it certainly is.
If this energy is necessary, then why lie about it? Why only communicate in symbols and a subconscious manner? It reeks of deceit to me, and I am beyond sick of being lied to, in every aspect of my life.
Lies bring chaos, because people are making their decisions based on false information. Thinking they are choosing one thing, they are in fact a catalyst for something else. I know these people's philosophy requires chaos, where up is down and black is white, but the deception is my complaint.
In another thread, where someone had claimed divinity, someone concluded that the Beatles could not come out and say that they are the "place holders" for these archetypes, because then they would be thrown into a loony bin. That is why they are required to only hint at it, until they are "revealed" I suppose. But if that is the real explanation, that would make me worry even more.

The polarity exists on a fundamental, sub-atomic level, and what we think of as reality is really just manifestations of that pure energy. After all, everything is held together by electromagnetism! As for the "why do TPTB lie about it?", well they're protecting their power source, aren't they? If everybody knew that Lucifer was really the good guy (The Illuminated one), and that everything is connected at the subatomic level (quantum physics), and that physical reality isn't actually real, then everyone would have the power. With this in mind, they've basically created a whole bunch of false trails for us to follow (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Classical physics, etc), and it's been working out great for them! After all, the system that's been created for us (matrix) was designed specifically to keep us from looking behind the curtain, because if we knew what was there, the playing field would begin to level out. And they can't have that.

I agree P(D)enny, and that is why i am wary of the entire process.
I really don't have any vested interest either way, as I stopped listening to music a while ago. Reading here is the only thing that has gotten me to view a few YouTube videos and listen to a few oldies but goodies.
It had always been a large part of my life, but I no longer enjoyed the emotional manipulation I felt while listening. Now I had to give up television, more because I am so tired of being manipulated by the advertisements, and there seem to be more ads than program now.
Luckily we have dvd's now, so I can still watch some things without commercials.
My thought process just came around to this topic after reading so many posters here singing the virtues of the Beatles, et al and claiming they have wonderful enlightened motives and are trying to do us a grand favor. It is difficult for me to agree with this evaluation, weighing their methods of communication, and looking at the kinds of lives that these individuals have lived and what they have done with their great wealth and opportunities.
I really don't want to attack anyone else's belief system either, just hoping to add a little more weight to the other side of the argument.
