Directed by Michael Lindsey Hogg, who directed Let It Be amongst other Beatle activities. The movie has a disclaimer at the beginning to the effect that this is how the film makers 'imagined' things went down, however.. That may not be entirely true, as L-H may have heard a story from one (or both) participant. This movie is alright so far, thanks LB. From: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Lindsay-HoggOn 19 & 20 May 1966 Lindsay-Hogg directed two pairs of film clips (then known as "filmed inserts") to promote The Beatles current single Paperback Writer.
On 4 September 1968 at Twickenham Film Studios Hogg directed the promotional film for the new single "Hey Jude" with Paul McCartney himself designing the set. The event is also memorable as it marked Ringo Starr's return to the group after a two-week hiatus, during which he had announced that he had left the band. The final cut was a combination of several different takes, twelve having been filmed during the entire days session, according to the actor Marc Sinden who was in the film along with his brother Jeremy.
In 1970, he directed the full-length documentary Let It Be.
In 2000, he directed the VH1 television movie entitled Two of Us, named after the song of the same name, a track from The Beatles' final album, Let It Be. The movie is a fictionalized account of 24 April 1976, (six years after the break-up of The Beatles) the day Lorne Michaels made a statement on Saturday Night Live in which he offered The Beatles $3000.00 to appear on his program. The story is told through a series of conversations between John Lennon (Jared Harris) and Paul McCartney (Aidan Quinn).why haven't we seen all 12 different versions. i mean come on guys.. show us this kinda stuff.

I find myself wondering if these two images represent the same thing. (The images that appear on the paused videos.) Could the "McCartney eye" looking out toward space be the eye looking backwards across time toward 'the beginning of time", while the "Eye of Horus" (the Norway 'eye') is looking forward from the beginning of time, toward the Earth, which is now at 'the end of time'? In other words, are both images representing eyes looking through the rabbit hole (tunnel) at each end? One looking forward, one looking backward? I may have expressed this a bit better at the following link: 1:35 pm post: www.alien-earth.org/forum/message.php?page=5&message=58457&mpage=&showdate=12/11/09THAT SONG iamaphoney used it! hmm Macca was in NL that night.

The "Paul" you see waving at 0:52 doesn't seem to be the same guy you see waving at 0:55. Why was this done? It's a mystery. A magical mystery ... Non-Youtube-quality snapshots: Do you still think it doesn't seen to be the same guy? well, you see, in the first picture he waves with his right hand and the second he waves with his left so it must be a second paul... even though they wear the same clothes. (changed in the bus) p.s; jude, i send you a message on youtube, but haven't gotten anything back yet. ; )

Speaking of someone in terms that suggest that he is a creature of indeterminate gender is dehumanizing. Your words are more befitting of a mutant than a legendary rock artist. WHAT! you tell me that, i've been listening to an alien for all these years? but, really... i can't stand these things... it was fashion at the time to have such hair/clothes. p.s; jude, i responded on your PM

dont forget the just a good replica video... that video must be very rare, can't be found on youtube or anywhere else And "Shoes". The iamaphoney version sounds like a professionally-produced Sir Paul McCartney production. The only version that I know of that has ever been openly performed or produced by SPM is that extemporaneous composition on the guitar that he did with that girl interviewer. the song is made from that interview they tweaked pauls voice a little bit

Yeah, that is one crazy quote. I suspect it was edited from other quotes, but I can't find a real McCartney quote that contains any words or phrases in the same intonation at those above. Does anyone recognize any pieces of the above quote as being from somewhere else? Or what about from 2:00 to 2:07 (in Lennon's voice), "We just auditioned people, you know, and we came up with this guy and we knew, we knew his work, and we said, all right, he's a phony, you know..."? I can't find any reference to any such Lennon quote either. dont forget the just a good replica video... that video must be very rare, can't be found on youtube or anywhere else

Sounds like Paul is excitedly singing something about a band. I hear 4 phrases that go something like this: 1 - heart is carry me 2 - really band ... 3 - I would like to have a little band, a little band for me 4 - make it in a first in band in 3, the overlapping 'woo!' starts just before the 'for me' in 4, George sings along with 'band' in his patented harmonic way Rather than try to read a death clue into this, maybe using the "excited mc shouting about a band" as the context, we could figure out exactly what he may be singing here. Once that is established, we could interpret why "Paul" might be so excited about this band, his "little band" that he would "like to have" Keep in mind that some parts of what Paul is singing may be buried under the other singers' parts; we only hear Paul when they pause. I don't hear Paul singing anything about death; John may very well have said something about "we killed them", but that's a showbiz thing about going over well with an audience, something a band member would definitely say to another after a successful live performance. My two cents, pataphysical actually, john is saying: oh, god this kills me.

Ya'see? We just refuse to believe him when he tells us straight up. But since McCartney isn't dead, the original, just transitioned to a super private life somewhere with another name, like Devon Streadler or Marc Havenworth, and living in some tiny village in either Eastern Europe, Japan, or South Carolina, then it shouldn't all be taken at face value anyway. Then why doesn't he say, "Because Paul McCartney has been REPLACED, of course" -- and pass THAT off as a joke? Why is it that so much of what the Beatles did in their later years seems to contain so many motifs involving death, blood, automobile accidents, etc.? helter skelter - i likes death
