Sounds like part of the vocal was recorded backways and then "revoised". But yeah, the Fibonacci sequence is found all through nature and music. Calculating massive Fibs is a computational goal, used extensively in cryptogrpahy too.

Yes, I read somewhere that it is a banned topic on the scientologist proisonplanet website, as are several other topics. But that's not for here! So much for free-speech. Maybe someone should take a bull-horn round his house....

I do a little "tricking about" in CubaseVST, and have found one or two decent SPLHCB midi files that might help your efforts. The raw midi files themselves aren't brilliant, but it's possible to re-assign them to modules internally and externally and re-mix. Some of the instrumentation ain't great but they could help. I'll post an example of a mid and wav. Getting a proper guitar sound is a problem though. Buts thats easily solved by dumping the guitar track and laying a real on. I'm not a recording genius so the mix is prolly gonna be laughed at. Ne'er mind.

Oh, I think I read somewhere that Jimi played on Taxman, probably just someone picking up on his signature chord the 7flat9, which motifs throughout. The "Hendrix chord" that would actually be a 7 sharp 9 (dominant 7). A flat nine would give you a chord much more commonly used in Jazz, specifically part of a turnaround when playing in a minor key. (although you can also transition from the sharp 9 into the flat 9 while performing the turnaround) Flippin hell! Thanks!

yes he is a good jojo mojojoejoe You love life there Mikey, doncha? (that's a good thing) Anyway, question 14 threw me, I knew the tune, but didn't know it was named "Tush". Now, how many knew Paul played lead guitar on Taxman? (counter intuitive) Oh, I think I read somewhere that Jimi played on Taxman, probably just someone picking up on his signature chord the 7flat9, which motifs throughout.

There was a minor Earthquake in the UK during this week - 5.4
I was actually looking for the thread about the significance of "pepper" in various titles, because, I was scanning the TV movie listings here and - The Great Waldo Pepper and the Culpepper Cattle Company are showing on rival channels tonight - Feb 29! I was wondering if it had any significance!

Not being mean, but you won't see a 100,000 dead Iraqi's mosaic. Mostly children.

This is really scary. I really feel sorry for America's ornery folks. They are walking slap bang into another "9/11" with blindfolds on. He is one crazy motherf*cker period. Hang him now before it's too late! Faddam was/is a benevolent patrician compared to Bush.

My guess is there was a huge echo because of the arrangments! I tend to avoid David Icke's. David Icke is the best overall researcher we have these days. Some of his theories may sound outlandish, but just wait till you see the shapeshifters yourself. And that part is also perfectly explainable if you do some research into the holographic universe theory. Still waiting for IAAP to show up, to steer this thread back on course I have actually read a little about the Holographic Universe by David Bohm and one or two others. Very interesting indeed. But shape-shifters..... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Bohm

I saw it on the interwebs many years ago. I just googled "morans go usa" and it popped up immediately! Not sure exactly where it's from, post 9/11 patriotism no doubt!

I'm seeing double! Check out the double eyelid on the first photo! I said in one of my first post here that I thought "Sir Paul" was someone in a latex mask!

Hi Mike, I've been *learning* to use CubaseVST for about 5 years, so I've been reading a lot about Recording recently, and EQ is key to good recordings. It popped into my head, in bed of all places, last night.

When two similar ranged instruments (or voices) are playing the same part, say guitar and piano, using EQ to boost the fundamental frequencies of one of the instruments causes the other instrument to "disappear" in the mix.
This technique is called Masking, and it's mostly not used for the obvious reasons - unless the engineer has to hide a bad playing or something. It is often used in solo parts. Could there be a vocal "mask" on The Magic Christian and many other records?
Just something to consider!

Sorry for confusion B, I picked up from your post -
"And again, an Apollo-esque double-entendre possible with this from milesdeo:
"RL8 seems postal.
I'm only trying to help along, I hope that's alright."
Like: RL8 had "gone postal"? On a shooting spree?"
It got turned around somehow!?
PS/ To pour or heap "Vitriol" on something is to pour scorn on it!!

RL8 is what I would use in SMS shorthand for RELATE.
