Ah well, you say hello and goodbye.. In case you are lurking Billy, glad you made a brief return.. Anyway, interesting cover indeed! Who's that left handed (headless) bass player? The album, Dee has my 9 bucks just for Little Neutrino alone. deelong.bandcamp.com/album/life-afterlife

iwilliam, I completely agree with you. In fact, I would go further. It appears that many threads here have been hijacked by posts with obscure references to illuminati symbols and so on that appear to have little to do with the OP and in some cases even the previous post. Hardly anyone can follow even what they are talking about, execept apparently one or two. It is as if they are having some sort of inside joke that only those in the know get. The moderators have done nothing about this behaviour, the effect of which newcomers are being put of by threads that start off straightforward enough and go off on some obscure tangent that just about no one can follow. This seems to have happened in just about every thread. One wonders out loud whether the few who are guilty of such posts aren't actually agents out to sabotage the forum. They have been left to roam free for far too long. Perhaps there should be a ban on any discussions of NWO-type conspiracies except wheere the OP specifically calls for it. A thread, for instance, which asks you to compare Paul vs Faul photos, should simply stick to that. You have moderated a PID forum Paulbearer, and you know how it goes.. How did that controlling things work out for ya? There are no agents, just people who want to free associate and hear the sound of their own words.. Well maybe some self editing is called for, I'll admit that. This is a thread Ilras started about the forensic evidence in the Italian version of Wired, I split it off from where it went off the beam. (in my opinion)

have nothing to do with my "'way up there' position of moderator". They would read the same, regardless of whether I was a moderator or not. Knowing B for as long as I have, I can say without a shadow of a doubt this is true.. He will give his unvarnished opinion, moderator or no. And, if he was about exercising power, he would have banned you or deleted your post(s). Did that happen?

A moderator "blocking your password" is impossible, FYI.

Hey I haven't gone anywhere, just that we need another pair of hands (and of course set of eyes) to help out with the moderating duties around here. B has been around a LONG time, he has learned the ins and out of the technical aspects of Proboards, and he is not the type to get on a power trip.. THAT more than anything will chill discussion in a big hurry. HE really won't have too much to do as far as the people who regularly (and not so regularly) post here, this forum remarkably runs itself very well in that respect, thanks to the cool people who visit here. It also helps that I've met him in person a few times..

Yeah it happens to a lot of boards, almost always a Chinese IP address.
I will usually delete the post and the new member who posts this stuff..

Geoff - Welcome! I don't think I paid 56 bucks for your book, but I did order a paper and ink version from Amazon UK when it first came out. I had been reading it when you published it on your blog, and then you pulled it before I could finish the last chapter. Darn! But that's OK.. I hope you are doing alright and it's really great to see a comment from you here. As far as navigating the forum, there is a reply button under people's posts or you may use the "box" for a quick reply. Cheers!

Using the private browsing feature on Firefox will essentially delete cookies as you are starting "fresh". But you still need a new IP address as that is how most bans are done. Mike's suggestion will work unless they ban the entire range from the ISP. There are services like hidemyass.com/ and similar, just Google 'web proxy'. I also have one at jojoplace, but I'll post the address at members only: invanddis.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=members1&action=display&thread=6939

That's true to an extent, but the business here has held steady at about 1000 page loads/day for years except for the IAAP spike a few years back. For the past month or two it's been running 2500-3000 a day, so for whatever reason there has been more interest.
I've been using Statcounter since 2005 to keep track.

The description of the video using Google translate: Dee Long - Dave Edward Long, is a genius. His father is the creator of the precursor for the government of what is now known as the Internet. At an early age, Dee produced two compositions for The Beatles: Blue Jay Way Across The Universe. It was one of the closest collaborators of John Lennon and current spokesperson for all that relates to Paul McCartney and Faul McCartney. As a member of Klaatu, Dee helped John to tell the COGNIZANT AND FOLLOWERS OF SKIING truth of what really happened, the real impact for The Beatles and the real reason for the disintegration of the Quartet. After the death of John Lennon, Klaatu collapsed and each of the musicians went their separate ways. Dee Long and John Johnes created a recording studio where you create the concept of MIDI and be the first to use this technology for some recording processes. Later sold this study and be employed at Air Studios, thus becoming great allies of emerging new bands like Duran Duran, and supporting great bands and musicians as "Faul McCartney" and David Gilmur. Dee Long with George Martin also participated in the production and publishing of some materials ... From its beginnings in music and so far, Dee continues to sow on the road tracks and trails for all followers of the truth about the death of Paul, and in the twilight of his life, continues to record and generating material and MANY TRACKS messages for those who know where and what to look ... Speaking for myself, I never tire of Klaatu's music, and Dee is my favorite of the solo material that followed. Just 'cause it's entertaining..

Wow Eyesbleed, that's gotta be the worst! The thing to remember with Malwarebytes is to buy the pay version, that way the database gets updated automatically, and more important the pay version runs in the background shooting down things before they get a foothold.

Instead of paying to have it fixed, prevent it for a much lower price with Malwarebytes: www.malwarebytes.org/The guys at the shop are probably going to just run it on your computer anyway.. It is THE BEST, bar none!

I get my stuff from Usenet, but you have to be willing to pay for a server. This torrent site looks promising: tinyurl.com/cj8gsl2Googling "Let Him Be" torrent gets a list.
