Hi guys... I've been MIA for the past month and a half, and now I've come to tell you all why.
Towards the end of finals week I was under tremendous stress, to top it all off I found a black bump in my mouth which I assumed to be cancer. It wasn't, but the damage was done... My OCD came back full-force.
About 6 years ago I had a really bad bout with OCD. I was raised in a Christian household, and it seems the OCD took the worst thoughts possible pertaining to Christianity, and would spam them in my head all day. It would either beg God to damn me the next time I drank a coke (and I, being only 14, did indeed become paranoid of drinking cokes) or it would try to sell my soul for various stupid things.
One day, however, one of those things actually happened. I had an OCD moment about this Lord of the Rings DVD, and at the register, due to some glitch, the DVD did indeed come up free. I was convinced that I had sold my soul for it, and it was promptly burned.
After that I became depressed, but then 9th grade started and I felt normal again.
Other strange things would happen over the years. I once bought a pack of cards, and had an OCD thought about one specific card, and sure enough it was the first card in the deck (I trashed it)
My friend thinks that I'm psychic or something now. This morning I woke up and some how knew my friend would get fired today, and he indeed was fired.
This summer it's back again. Just yesterday I got a free coke at the register (of course.. I caught it and payed for it anyway)
The mechanics of OCD are the worst. If I do an action with a bad thought (i.e. me having cancer or something) then I have to redo the action over and over until I can lock on to a good thought.
Sounds crazy and it really sucks, but if I don't do it I get anxiety attacks and stuff.
Oh well, now you all know about me and my Faustian OCD complex.

Oh please. Don't give me that fearmongering "flesh melting" sensationalist garbage.
Even my own Geography prof, who is also a meteorologist and expert on atmospheric processes, is undecided as to whether global warming is caused by humans or not. He prefers to not take a stand on it until more info comes to light.
Consider this: The most important greenhouse gas (and yes, we need these to survive) is the naturally occurring water vapor.
Two things give our planet heat: #1: Long-wave (terrestrial) radiation - this is radiation emitted from the earth, the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere allow some of this to pass but prevents some of it from leaving as well. This is REQUIRED for life, because it the greenhouse gases serve as a blanket, keeping some of this radiation in, and keeping us warm and not letting all our heat leave.
#2 is Short-wave radiation - this is radiation emitted from the sun. Not all of this radiation makes it down to us, due to greenhouse gases blocking it, and also things such as reflection and refraction on its way down.
We are allowed to survive on earth thanks to a very delicate balance between these two types of incoming and outgoing radiation. There is no doubt that the overall climate has become warmer. The question is, did humans cause it?
I say yes, but not completely. It's perfectly plausible that naturally occurring greenhouse gases, as well as different behavior from the sun could be heating our planet as well.
Remember, during the dark ages we had what was known as the "little ice age" so one must wonder, what if this heating up is a natural process and is part of a cycle so large we can't "zoom out" far enough to really see it?
But too many people are jumping the gun and going crazy, and this leads to IDIOTIC actions such as the whole ethanol debacle (PROTIP: Ethanol really only benefits the big oil companies).
The fact is, we require oil for nigh everything in the developed world, and the scary thing is, oil is finite. There is absolutely nothing out there that we could replace oil with and still keep this country moving as fast as it is.
In the end, the only people standing in the way (and the ones with the most to lose) are the major oil companies... and they will lose out. We are merely feeling the final spasms of a dying dinosaur.

I posted the link to the video fro Johnny Cash's "God's Gonna Cut You Down" It features Jay-Z, Keith Richards, Johnny Depp and many more people who have NOTHING to do with the song at all. There's much occult imagery in the video as well. youtube.com/watch?v=Cash, good friend of 33rd degree mason Billy Graham. I'm still trying to figure out what this video is saying. Cash "identified with the poor and downtrodden"? The people in the video are all rich and have nothing to do with Christianity. It makes no sense.

Greenpeace? Really?
From what I've been reading it's the Ethanol crap that is putting a strain on everything. It takes more than a gallon of gas to make a gallon of Ethanol.... and Ethanol sucks as a fuel it takes 20% more to do that same work as a gallon of gas.
Plus, think about all that's involved in making corn You have to plow, plant, spray, and reap all of that takes fuel; gas to run the tractors fertilizers made from petrol chemicals and more gas to harvest and ship it to the processing plant in addition when ethanol comes in contact with water, it's ruined so it can't be shipped through pipelines... so it has to be shipped by truck to the gas station or distribution station and mixed with gasoline there
The only reason it's cheaper is because of government subsidies. Ethanol is tax free and corn in subsidized out the ass.

nysun.com/news/food-rationing-confronts-breadbasket-worldMajor retailers in New York, in areas of New England, and on the West Coast are limiting purchases of flour, rice, and cooking oil as demand outstrips supply. There are also anecdotal reports that some consumers are hoarding grain stocks.
At a Costco Warehouse in Mountain View, Calif., yesterday, shoppers grew frustrated and occasionally uttered expletives as they searched in vain for the large sacks of rice they usually buy.
“Where’s the rice?” an engineer from Palo Alto, Calif., Yajun Liu, said. “You should be able to buy something like rice. This is ridiculous.”
The bustling store in the heart of Silicon Valley usually sells four or five varieties of rice to a clientele largely of Asian immigrants, but only about half a pallet of Indian-grown Basmati rice was left in stock. A 20-pound bag was selling for $15.99.
“You can’t eat this every day. It’s too heavy,” a health care executive from Palo Alto, Sharad Patel, grumbled as his son loaded two sacks of the Basmati into a shopping cart. “We only need one bag but I’m getting two in case a neighbor or a friend needs it,” the elder man said.
The Patels seemed headed for disappointment, as most Costco members were being allowed to buy only one bag. Moments earlier, a clerk dropped two sacks back on the stack after taking them from another customer who tried to exceed the one-bag cap.
“Due to the limited availability of rice, we are limiting rice purchases based on your prior purchasing history,” a sign above the dwindling supply said. But don't get upset, I mean, everything's fine... the real thing to debate over is whether Pennsylvanians are bitter and stuff...right?

What the heck is /b/, and why does Mike think Socash is so enamored of he/she/it? /b/ is... a place you should never go. Basically the septic tank of the entire internet. Wherein you'll find the most graphic images anywhere online, and some of the most idiotic forum posters in the world (I call them /b/tards). If you absolutely must go to /b/ and see exploding brains and severed penises, it's a sub-board on the 4chan website. It is also home to "Anonymous," this is what the posters on the board call themselves usually. They have been known to really terrorize some people and stuff. Right now they are currently attacking the church of Scientology via the net and in real life protests, but many of their things are usually not so noble. For instance, I remember reading about them hacking a forum for epileptics and putting seizure inducing gifs all over the site.

My main problems are with sugar and caffeine.
I eat alot of rice, but it's Japanese "sticky" rice, not brown. And I only use sea salt. Plus, you can't have potatoes on the diet... dunno how I'd handle that.

Wow I never knew Harrison met with Ford... I believe it's at this point the audience realizes the Beatles weren't anti-establishment at all, and were just being marketed to the anti-establishment dollar. Here's a film of their meeting www.youtube.com/watch?v=

I'm doing alot of rethinking about what I eat and drink.
The main problem is, being in college, who has time to mess with fresh fruit and veggies? I usually just stick with preservative riddled canned vegetables.
I've become addicted to tea and colas. I tried to go a week without a Mountain Dew, and I couldn't do it. I felt like crap and then I went and bought another case.
My friend keeps telling me that people would actually be better off drinking tap water than bottled water because much of bottled water actually comes from the local supply, and can have a higher risk of bacteria or chemical contaminants.
It just really bothers me how we can't buy ANYTHING without all this junk in it. I was looking at my bread... Not only is it not really whole grain, but the brown coloring (which Pumpernickel bread is famous for) is fake as well! They use caramel coloring for it now.
I wouldn't put it past them to start putting High Fructose Corn Syrup in the water as well....

youtube.com/watch?v=Here we see composer John Cage talking about how he adopted the Lennon-Ono diet. Does anyone actually know what the rules were in this diet besides the refusal of animal fats? (BTW, wasn't Cage also a major influence on Revolution 9?)

War against rock has been on ever since? First of all, do you honestly think that rock music has had a positive effect on people? I'm not talking about the Beatles, I mean like The Doors... Did they really promote anything "good"? Led Zeppelin? All Pink Floyd ever did for me was turn my friends into stoners.
Ok that covers the 70's, do I even need to go further? What next, you're going to tell me that Motley Crue and other 80's hair bands were persecuted for "sticking it to the man"..... Rock music, like any music, is now just another vehicle for corporations to promote whatever their agenda is. It's all fake. Lennon even said the Beatles themselves were just an "act".
The same can be said with Christianity. It started off as a good message, but quickly became subverted, and millions have perished in the name of Christ.

OR........ The British government could have disposed of Holly & Co to make way for the British invasion. It makes sense, clear out any American opposition (anybody with potential and talent who wasn't on their agenda) so that they could easily fill the heads of the youth with whatever they wished.
In essence, the Beatles themselves acted as a "replacement".
What about mid-60's American rock icons (Joplin, Morrison, Hendrix, etc)? They probably were not considered a threat or were working for the same agenda (either knowingly or not). However at the first signs of them becoming "aware" they were disposed of.
Just a thought.... Who knows.

I dunno 4000, I wouldn't say stuff like Led Zeppelin is God's music. In fact, I don't even like listening to it that much anymore. I prefer The Who, they don't give off bad vibes.

Still doesn't make sense to me.
I mean, I see the symbols but it isn't forming a coherent message. Is he trying to say that the music died with Holly & co and that the "music" that came after (Beatles, Dylan, Etc) is bad?
