We've already established that you are the Antichrist.... Makes sense IMO ;D

Don't you mean "Lucie"? Lucifer in the sky with Diamonds.

Hmmm I wonder if my University's library has anything worth looking fer (not that I'd even know how to go about it, I usually get lost in that place).... Highly doubtful, although they do have quite the vinyl collection.

Also don't forget that Moses is symbolic of Aries just as Jesus was to Pisces and John Wayne is to Aquarius (or not...)

Hah! See I knew the Beatles couldn't possibly think of Crowley as a role-model. John maybe....... But not all of them.

When I first heard the song, I took it as Bill is the one "not coming down", and the other voices ("We'll have you down soon") were his handlers or something to that effect.
I thought maybe, just maybe with the attempted break-in and his switching record labels that he was starting to wake up and defy his handlers.

Hmm.... Not to be off topic here, but maybe there should be a thread talking about how many musicians have died in those plane/car accidents..... Suspicious IMO.

But I thought the Beatles were "anti-christ" according to Derek Taylor. But honestly I think this is the final nail in the "PID was just a fan created hoax" coffin.

I didn't think it was about the death of Paul for 2 reasons. Number one being that it seems upbeat to be a tribute to Paul's death. Number two is that it alludes to the fall of Apple Corps... Question, why would a Paul who died in 1966 care about the failure of a company that he never knew about?

I am not getting sense out of it personally. How do we know it isn't just about Faul? I sometimes try to step outside of my preconceived notions and view something. In this case those preconceived notions would be that this is a song about PID.
But either way I still can't really understand what he is trying to get across.

I never knew they said "oh my god we've killed him" right there. I always heard it as a voice with a weird effect on it saying "lonely hearts club band" or something....... I'm not quite sure.

Paul was either replaced, or John smashed him in the face with his Rickenbacker, forcing Paul to have to get reconstructive surgery.
However, when getting whacked in the face, it knocked a few of Paul's teeth down his throat, which somehow managed to get stuck, thus giving him his new voice. ;D

Ask the groups who are contributing money to getting it rebuilt. It stems back to the book of Revelation where it says something about the Antichrist standing in the temple and declaring himself to be God.

I wasn't talking about all Christians. I'm talking about the fanatical ones who REALLY DO want to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem, just so the Antichrist can come. I even know Christians who say these people are idiots.
It's easy to make fun of what you know little about
I know plenty about Christianity. Seriously, ask me [just about almost] anything.

If there ever was an Andy-Christ it would be the result of fanatical Christians fulfilling their own damn prophecy IMO

Music has lost much with the advent of the iPod. No cool album cover tricks, and you can't spin it backwards. Not to mention, if your battery dies, you gotta send it off to apple who (instead of replacing the battery) just sends you a refurbished iPod so you lose all your songs. But I too am guilty, I own one but only for the convienience of having whole discographies in my pocket.

Seriously, I'd go so far as to say that I like King Crimson more than Pink Floyd.

Mentioned at the wiki page Jojo linked to: Hiroshima Sky www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5vr-s2L-aUWarning! "About this video: Hiroshima Sky Is Always Blue is a collabration between Yoko Ono and Paul McCartney recorded in 1995 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bomb over Hiroshima. This song was recorded in Paul's private studio where Yoko Ono provided vocals, Paul McCartney on Bass and participation from Sean Lennon and Paul's family." I have not been able to sit through this; not because I'm moved, but because Yoko Ono provided vocals. And here's the proof of the pudding: www.youtube.com/watch?v=yY7Jei8t-OkAnother version (trunkated) of the song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBA7Xc2wKVQ I had the option to study abroad to Hiroshima University, but I decided not to go... Even if it is "safe"... there's whole communities of "hibakusha" or "those affected by the explosion" that still live there, pretty heavy stuff.

Harrison's favorite number was 7, according to Dhani. I noticed he usually put the best song as track number 7 on his albums.
