Thats a shot making for a resemblance---I guess Keith and Paul had a similarity in "type" or a general "ethnic" resemblance, etc. I guess Celto-Brits are an "ethnos" too..............
that pscho-jello Monkees site is the main one i found as well, XPT. Thanks for posting.

I dont see the Keith Allyson thing either. Allysons face is too round, his nostrils are too wide--his features were softer than Paul's. Paul had sharper features in general than Keith seems to have had. But , that;s seeing only one or two pictures. BUt lets look go to google and look around------
I am so redundant. Well, I just googled up a bunch of Keith Allyson pics, and I get more of an impression. Well, he had a slight resemblence maybe in a certain way, from a certain angle. He was nothing like a dead ringer.

I think this song is about both point of views of john and bill/ or paul When Lennon sings i think he's singing about paul dieing in the crash and Paul singing is about either Paul before the accident or Bill after the accident before he turned into FAUl. May not sound to correct but it's what I always thought Your instincts are probably correct.

Wow. I see it. Strange! So, how does one follow the white rabbit? Trace his outline?
How could software isolate and assemble the sounds corresponding to the rabbit's outline, and "play" them in succesion to see if there is a secret message there? Mind boggling. I haven't a clue. How could they have figured that out in 1967?
And the White Rabbit disappears down the rabbit hole......
Wonder if that's the same hole that Paul?/William? was fixing?
Let's ask Alice. When shes ten feet tall.

Total Eclipse. To me, it's where the direct shine of an light source is obscured from a viewer's perspective by the interloping pass of an opaque body whose apparent size is effectively equal or greater to the light source.
Hmmm. When we look up at an eclipse (though we do so at great risk) we are in fact seeing the combined image of two bodies. We see one image resulting from an overlap of two entities that takes place in three dimensions.
Even in a total eclipse of the sun we still see an effect of the covered light source, the corona, or surrounding light discharge, which is in fact MORE apparent during an extreme eclipse than any other time (to the naked eye).
Is "Paul McCartney" an image created from the merger of two entities in combined perspective?

That's a real nice track. And video. Lavish audio, so pretty.
Moving song.
It sounds like James Paul is singing especially at the beginning, other spots.
Perplexing.
The message is one that John Lennon would have been rather excited about; he would have been proud of this song and video narrative of Sir Paul's, and a little jealous, too. Video is like a mini movie; a Frank Capra kind of expression about war and the universal yearning for peace.
I thought of Henry Kissinger for a moment, and some interview I caught the tail end of on TV the other day, saying how "we" needed to stay in Iraq , and escalate, etc.....Iraq., etc. Escalate. Always escalate. If Arnold is "The Terminator", then I guess it's apropos to call Henry "The Escalator." lol Everybody rides him all the time but he still goes to the next level.
?
OK DON'T think about that last sentence for very long.
I mean, thank God for our military. But one day Peace will come and we can beat the swords into plowshares. (Whatever THOSE are.....)
I digress....
Can you imagine Nixon on some old watergate tape? "Rosemary, quick, get me "The Escalator" on the phone right away to help me explain this Cambodia mess......"
And up comes Kissinger to tell why more is better in Southeast Asia.
And then I think of the current situation in Iraq, with other countries nearby and soon to follow. Sadly.
So, perhaps an add campaign to help get American support for escalating into neighboring nations in this War on Tara, or Terror, or whatever it is......using the fashion by-line/joke: "Pink, the New Black."
"Iran.The New Cambodia."
Might not sell. But, with The Escalator's endorsement on FOX, CNN, and "McNeil-not-Lehrer" Report, the approval rating for such a move in Iran or Syria, etc.,will soar as high as the Escalator can take us.

www.catholic.net/RCC/music/midi/christmas/trench.htmlChristmas in the Trenches (John McCutcheon) My name is Francis Tolliver, I come from Liverpool. Two years ago the war was waiting for me after school. To Belgium and to Flanders, to Germany to here I fought for King and country I love dear. 'Twas Christmas in the trenches, where the frost so bitter hung, The frozen fields of France were still, no Christmas song was sung Our families back in England were toasting us that day Their brave and glorious lads so far away. I was lying with my messmate on the cold and rocky ground When across the lines of battle came a most peculiar sound Says I, ``Now listen up, me boys!'' each soldier strained to hear As one young German voice sang out so clear. ``He's singing bloody well, you know!'' my partner says to me Soon, one by one, each German voice joined in harmony The cannons rested silent, the gas clouds rolled no more As Christmas brought us respite from the war As soon as they were finished and a reverent pause was spent ``God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen'' struck up some lads from Kent The next they sang was ``Stille Nacht.'' ``Tis `Silent Night','' says I And in two tongues one song filled up that sky ``There's someone coming toward us!'' the front line sentry cried All sights were fixed on one long figure trudging from their side His truce flag, like a Christmas star, shown on that plain so bright As he, bravely, strode unarmed into the night Soon one by one on either side walked into No Man's Land With neither gun nor bayonet we met there hand to hand We shared some secret brandy and we wished each other well And in a flare-lit soccer game we gave 'em hell We traded chocolates, cigarettes, and photographs from home These sons and fathers far away from families of their own Young Sanders played his squeezebox and they had a violin This curious and unlikely band of men Soon daylight stole upon us and France was France once more With sad farewells we each prepared to settle back to war But the question haunted every heart that lived that wonderous night ``Whose family have I fixed within my sights?'' 'Twas Christmas in the trenches where the frost, so bitter hung The frozen fields of France were warmed as songs of peace were sung For the walls they'd kept between us to exact the work of war Had been crumbled and were gone forevermore My name is Francis Tolliver, in Liverpool I dwell Each Christmas come since World War I, I've learned its lessons well That the ones who call the shots won't be among the dead and lame And on each end of the rifle we're the same Quite moving, really. I seem to remember , on a TV show about WWI, and I think it was on the History Channel or Discovery, one or the other. Anyway, there was a segment about this type thing; in the trenches in fact. The account mentioned Alsace -Lorraine as the location, where over Xmas how the two sides got together etc during this time. Very moving. I wonder if that ever happened during the Civil War. They must make us hate one another to win their objectives. Without our cooperation, they can't move ahead sometimes. They get us to war each other. The mighty and the powerful. Oldest routine in the book. Is that one of the games? Make an opposition between brothers and cousins? If we are the Rabble, they are the Rouser. How Rabelesque of me.

Dangerous on the highways? Tis is off-topic, but I wanted to share this: www.chinadaily.com.cn/world/2007-03/02/content_818493.htmThat ramp has been a problem for a long time. Lots of people confused. Some "HOV" (high occupancy lanes) do go continuously on the left side of the highway, occasionally going up a ramp or having a single lane split off and rejoining the main road a few hundred yards later after an interchange. It's hard to tell sometimes the difference between the exit ramps, and the continuing ramps. I long ago predicted this lane would need to be remarked, altered, or closed. Back to the topic----- That wold be the wrong lanes if it were England.......but the RIGHT ones if it were in France....... But...those ARE British license plates on the back of the black car. But there was the ferry from Dover to Calais......so, British cars DO drive in France routinely, yes? What I mean is , maybe the 2 cars represent a trip into France----where maybe someone FORGOT to drive on the RIGHT side of the road----and met a French car head on. Maybe the English visitors in the visiting car were on their way home fro Paris to London, when a driving error caused the loss of, say, the passenger......Brian? James Paul? PS the strangely marked mat in front of George looks like a welcome doormat. I wonder about the styrofoam cup over to the side there. And it is written, "Thank you very"---where is the "much?" It's All So Mysterious. Interesting and astute notion about the French and English autos... You are a musician, correct? Do you see that the "keyboard instrument" he plays in the film is that "door mat" that you alluded to? Do you see how the keys are reversed? As if the viewer is supposed to "play the keys' (?). Also, as I pointed out in the original post, the "keyboard" matches all of the colors Harrison is wearing, right down to the amulet dangling from his chest. They could have given him a real keyboard to synch to, no? It's markings also resemble the walkway on Abbey Road., another possible street reference. Yes, thanks for alluding to it, I am now seeing all that you said about the keyboard doormat there. Indeed, what could it mean? I am blank so far.

I read this is a magazine while I was in my doctor's office. It was in an article entitled Dear John ( about Elton John ): The interviewer: More than any other rock star of your generation, you seem to take a real interest in young and new artists. Why ? Elton: When I was starting out, people like GEORGE HARRISON, Leon Russell, Neil Diamond and BRIAN WILSON took an interest in me. They were my heroes and they were so supportive of me, and it meant the world. I think it's very important for my generation to do that for people now. HMMMM..... I was out having drinks with friends last night and at one stop-off, the house music played the Elton John/George Michael version of "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me", I think part of a Freddie Mercury tribute bu then I am not sure. Anyway, it's fantastic and I love how Sir Elton shared the stage and song so graciously with then very new George Michael. An unquestionably great vocal talent; but it didn't phase Elton to give him plenty of room in the song. And gawd did they sound great together! Kiki Dee, another case. Ru Paul, another case.........well REALLY another case altogether......butI loved it. Hmmm,. same song as Kiki Dee....... Maybe it's time for a new duet version of that song with Clay Aiken. Well, maybe not THAT song.......or a duet with Taylor Kicks...........well maybe not so much....... Or.....Jennifer Hudson..........well now, with Dreamgirls she's gonna fly on her own...still, a duet between them, Sir Elton and she...........on just the right soulful song.......that could be wonderful, IMO. Uhm...Beyoncé, Jennifier, Elton , and Clay in a new quartet song produced by Quincy Jones.....written by Taupin, John, Beyoncé, and Stevie Wonder. I can dream, can't I?

I believe Elton John/Bernie Taupin's song "Philadelphia Freedom" is about Paul, after leaving the Beatles, having freedom to "live alone". PHILADELPHIA FREEDOM (Bernie Taupin/Elton John) I used to be a Rolling Stone * You know; if the cause was right I'd leave to find the answer on the road I used to be a heart beating for someone But the times have changed The less I say the more my work gets done `Cause I live and breathe this Philadelphia freedom From the day that I was born I've waved the flag Philadelphia freedom took me knee-high to a man** Yeah gave me peace of mind my daddy never had Oh Philadelphia freedom shine on me, I love you Shine a light through the eyes of the ones left behind Shine a light shine a light Shine a light won't you shine a light Philadelphia freedom I love you, yes I do If you choose to you can live your life alone Some people choose the city Some others choose the good old family home I liked living easy without family ties 'Til the whippoorwill of freedom zapped me Right between the eyes*** (end) * I've capitalized "Rolling Stone" here; I believe Paul played on some of their albums. An intentional pun, imo. ** apparently a hint about Paul having been made "a midget" after a great fall, alluded to in Bob Dylan's "Dwarf Music"publishing (corrected), and the "Humpty Dumpty" references on the cover of Sgt. Pepper and "egg man" reference in "I Am the Walrus" ***an apparent allusion to Paul having been zapped "right between the eyes" by a lightning bolt, possibly a laser weapon. The "whipporwill of freedom" a military fighter jet. (Hear Pink Floyd's "Dogs of War", "JET!" by Faul.) "Philadelphia Freedom" (the United States) caused Paul "a great fall" by shooting him out of the sky with a military jet, my take on it. They may not have had laser weapons in the late 1960's, but they could have used lasers for pinpointing a target. See it/Hear it:www.youtube.com/watch?v=vze9GVS-shsThat is a sweet interpretation, 4K. Now, what I have heard thru the years is that Philadelphia Freedom was written in honor of Bilie Jean King: www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=2475The name of the 1974 tennis team on which she starred was the "Philadelphia Freedoms." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia_Freedom_(tennis)

yes, without hijacking the thread... John doesn't look like John at all on this pic: Now that you mention it, John doesn't look himself....and George looks rather peculiar...His mouth.... Yes, seemingly. But--there is little to support a switch of John, especially nothing vocally, and nothing personality wise. etc. Now, "we all had a hard year, we all had a facelift....." Remember that one in that rough demo of that tune off of the Let it Be record? Perhaps some minor cosmetic adjustments were given here and there to make the change of appearance a bit more.........across the board. So, like, if they ALL look a little bit different, then they are all the SAME.......... just a thought.

And that's a good point. We sure have been discovering how much Bill lies lately on this forum. Well he has to, so no fault of his own. Anyway, I think John wrote it about Paul. darkhorse, I have a question about syntax. Is it, "Lately on this forum, we sure have been discovering how much Bill kicks back and relaxes. It isn't his fault because he has to." Yes, I agree. Everybody needs to rest, particularly when they become tired. Are you saying that Bill is in need of a break from the limelight? We all need time away from it all sometimes.

Rita, you don't know the 1/2 of it. There's a whole series of photos of that man vamping with those chains ! Who is that in the chains? That isn't Sir Paul I don't think. What was the purpose of this unusual photo session? Are there pictures of Ringo on the rack, or George with a whip? John and a dominatrix? This was a very strange departure.

we cannot say the same about Bill Bill looks like Tony Orlando's gay twin! Fony Torlando? Well, it sure isn't Dawn! Or, tu-tu, as the case may be. But Faul shouldn't take this lying down. He has the right to prance around the pool in a little white Holiday Inn bath towel if he wants to. Just don't let the bodyguard catch him, though. 'Cause that 6'4" brute will sentence him to many laps. And I don't mean across the pool either.......... OK, my evil twin wrote this post. It wadn't me. lol ;D It's New Years's. It was the Champagne wut dun it. OK, so no one take this post seriously, OK, it was like, totally a farce post cause no I dont think Sir Paul prances around in towels by the pool etc. so, no body get ruffled, it's comedy people. Not a problem MB: Not just that, but look at the wax dummy of James Paul and compare between these two: Good heavens. It took over three years, but we've finally done what no one thought could be done. We've found the missing half of Paul McCartney's dummy's head: I'm thinking Jigsaw Puzzle, how 'bout 'chu? Maybe somebody else can find the other side of the dummy head. Last one to look is a rotten egg! ;D

Well, appaently it isn't. I mean nodisrespect, but I played on a good stereo samples of "Paul" to "Bill" etc. All the several people ackowledged they heard a difference. This was immediately followed by: ETC. It won't be believed. I think "billyshears" was right............. Well, for at least the next couple of decades, anyway. So, for now, they must remain the same man. I think we just have to go with that. There it is. And I strongly lean toward PWR. Like 99%. Well, how about, uh, well, four decades, and, uh, 83%? JoJo said: what is WITH us anyway?
I understand your colloquial phrasing. I ask the same thing. I have NO answer of course.
But, it makes me think, by a stretch, "Who is with us", or just 'What is with us, and what might be AGAINST us?"
But, I don't feel like anything is AGAINST us.
And maybe someone or something is for us.
Maybe someone is with us (who understands.)
Maybe "what" is with us is really sincere concern---not totally proven maybe, but more on track now? Maybe not.
I think 60IF got way off track and went into a "carreen" down the mountainside, as it were. People weren't totally with it, and it ( as a "document" wasn't totally with it, either. Sorry to SK or PB I mean not to offend, but really, things went into a spiral that had to wind down, at some point. Confusion, misinformation, blatantly outrageous claims began to multiply. And then it became a venomous spouting match. Hot emotions and rash choices were "with" us then.
Hopefully, "reason" and "prudence" are with us now.
