i wouldn't have a clue how to put it on the computer.. best i could do is send you a dvd copy in the post, and you can do all that fancy computerish stuff I think it's being replayed soon though.. that way i can record the whole show cause there is at least an hour and a half missing. But being holidays at the moment no-one is working so i'll call them next week and find out.

ok.. my mum bought the tape up for me and i watched it. It's missing the beginning so it starts from when john and yoko met. Interestingly Francie schwartz is one of the main people on the show being interviewed, and she said something that kinda stuck out like a sore thumb.. she was talking about when john and yoko moved in with faul after cynthia found out, and one day there was a typed letter on the table that said john and yoko, so they opened it and it said "you and your jap tart think your really hot shit don't ya?" and faul walked in and said he wrote it as a lark and thought it was funny and Francie said "I can still remember the look on John's face, it was like.. do i even know who you are?" She also talked about Jane, cause she was living with Faul whilst he and Jane were engaged.
May Pang was also interviewed and she had some interesting stuff to say about Yoko. She talked about how Yoko told her that she and John weren't happy and he's going to start seeing other girls, and Yoko set her up with him. Then she said it was John's idea to move to LA or wherever they went, and Yoko would call between 5-20 times a day, and John couldn't stand it. She said that John was the happiest she had seen him since she had known him. Then one day John said he was going to see Yoko cause she knew someone who would help him quit smoking, so he went and was gone for 3 days, she would call Dakota and Yoko wouldn't let him speak to her. Then she said that Yoko put the fear back into him, told him he would get deported if he didn't stay with her and scared him back into the relationship. Then she said a few weeks later she called Yoko and said are you happy now? you've got him back, and yoko said no, i'll never be happy.

I'm in Australia.. gonna call up the station and ask when they are going to replay it, and i'll make i record it all. What to make of this? It does at least make Yoko's claim that she had "no idea" John was famous/A Beatle seem a little suspect. that has always made me laugh... like she had no idea

There was a Beatle girls special on TV.. it ran for about 3hrs.. i didn't see it, but my mum just called a little while ago to inform me she taped it for me Anyway she said when she turned to the channel she heard something strange that caught her attention, someone was being interviewed, a friend of Yoko's and he said "She was told to go after him" ... what the crap does that mean.. she was told?!? That strikes me as very odd indeed.. has anyone seen it? She didn't get that bit on tape unfortunately as she had only just turned it on... i would really love to see that. weird!

The colour White (white album) means mourning the dead.
Hyacinth (purple): Sorrow, Grief
Red carnation (MMT): my aching heart
Black(MMT): mystery and solemnity; the color of the night. Expresses the depths of the unknown.
Purple robes (sgt pepper statue) represent ceremony, mysterious, and mourning.

Tengu

I was just skimming through a book I have and I noticed something. This more than likely has no meaning to anything but I found some strange coincidences...
Tengu: in Japanese folklore, a type of mischievous supernatural being, sometimes considered the reincarnated spirit of one who was proud, talented and arrogant in life. Tengu are born from an egg and live in the mountains. A group of tengu is headed by a chief, who is depicted with a prominent nose, angry and threatening expression, dressed in red robes and carrying a feather fan. He is served by a group of retainers called koppa tengu ("leaflet" tengu) who act as his messengers.
The expression tengu ni naru is thus an admonition to avoid being arrogant. If they do good deeds, however, tengu can be reborn as humans. Tengu, unlike obake (ghosts), are always shown with bare feet.
The wings of bird tengu are usually shown with ordinary feathers. However, some would describe the wings as shimmering or glimmering.
Tengu can take human form, usually to trick people. Tanuki (badgers) and kitsune (foxes) have the same power but their true forms are revealed by their shadows or reflections. If a tengu is struck down by magic or a powerful martial artist, it will often transform into a wounded blackbird.
Tengu speak without moving their mouths, as if by telepathy. They can also possess and speak directly through people as well as appear to them in dreams. Tengu apparently have a hierarchy. Long nosed tengu are generally in charge of bird tengu. The king of all tengu is Sojobo, an elderly, white-haired yamabushi tengu. Sojobo is famous for teaching martial arts and strategy to Minamoto Yoshitsune on Mt. Kurama, north of Kyoto.
just thought there were strange coincidences.

A few weeks ago I went to the Medieval fair in Caboolture and I met a Hare Krishna. He saw my Beatles bag and he gave me book.
I have only just opened it up tonight and read some.. here are a few interesting bits:
The Beatles and the Maharishi 1966, the Beginning of the End for the Fab Four and much else. That traumatic year for those who lived through it (and those who didn't), includes an important nexus for the years that follow: the episode with the Maharishi that influenced so much Beatle output and is crucial to understanding the eventual dissolution of the Beatles. Coming far from coincidentally at exactly the same time as Brian Epstein's death, the Fabs' dalliance with the founder of TM dealt a hammer blow to the international pedestal they had occupied almost uninterruptedly for four years. They would never be exactly the same again....
Then goes on a rant about the Maharishi blah blah blah... mostly about George.. blah blah..nothing exciting..
Ah, humanity. What keeps us from the knowledge of truth? It's not the lack of a technique, or having the wrong costume, or any of that irrelevant stuff. It's the person we greet in the mirror each morning, and that's just as much the case for John-Paul-George-and-Ringo as it is for you and me. If you realize this, you are already a mystic, and for your first miracle: figure out what to do next! As the great jester-sage Mulla Nasrudin puts it, "Truth is something which I never speak."

HELP!! My eyes do not decieve me, and either do my ears. I see and hear a different man... BUT some of the clues and stuff just seem so far-fetched! And I read the 60IF document (really wish i hadn't), i dunno how closely connected this forum is with that one, but that document is just ridiculous to read. It's like a really bad B grade movie outline. I just don't know! it's frustrating.. i see and hear a different man, yet it all seems so completely ridiculous! grrrr.... I just wanna know the truth! sorry needed to vent.. BAD DAY!

To be perfectly blunt.. I don't give two hoots about Doris Day, Sylvie Vartan or Shirley Temple, they could've been replaced 1000 times over and I still wouldn't care, cause it has no bearing on what we are discussing here. This board is about Paul McCartney and the Beatles. All this other crap just clouds the issue. If you wanna talk shit like that, I know of a board you could go to. I'm sorry if I'm out of line, but I'm getting sick of this shit! And I don't know if it is even worth it anymore.

maybe.. they are hiding out in an MI6/MI5 secret underground lair on planet neptune with Paul, Doris, Sylvie, Larry King, Vivian Stanshill, Marianne Faithfull, Courtney Cox, and all the other VERY IMPORTANT celebrities they felt deemed to replace, cause I mean c'mon.. where would the world be today without the likes of Sylvie, Courtney or Doris

I've watched heaps of time.. i don't get that feeling at all! I got the feeling that they were kinda stepping on eggshells around him. Especially Eric, he kept looking at him weirdly, like to see if he was ok. It reminded me of the way George looked at him when they were on the anthology thing together sitting around the table. i dunno.. that's just my opinion .. i shall go now
